Thanks to a late winner Ross County have earned a Scottish Cup Semi Final place against Celtic something even their most die hard fans could only have dreamed about 15 years ago when they were becoming members of the Scottish League.

Trailing 1-0 to Hibs with 20 minutes to go it looked like the Scottish Premier League club were going to avoid the upset and give them a chance to lift the Scottish Cup for the 1st time since 1902. However plucky Ross kept at it and they equalised in the 70th minute and snatched a dramatic winner in injury time to send the Ross contingent of the 5,607 crowd into raptures. Given that Ross had more possession and shots at goal Hibernian can have no complaints and can now focus on trying to gain a Europa League place.

It has been a good season for the Scottish Division one teams and Ross County now join Raith Rovers in the Semi Finals where they will hope to Emulate Queen Of The Souths efforts a couple of seasons ago. The chances of this look a little remote though as they will probably both face the old Firm as Rangers will be strong favourites to overcome Dundee United in the Quarter Final Replay.  Sadly for the underdogs it looks like being a Celtic – Rangers Final this year.
